Swami Swatmananda
Swami Swatmananda is one of the most dynamic leaders of Chinmaya Mission & serving in Chinmaya Mission Mumbai since 2000.
He completed the Vedanta Course from Chinmaya Mission, Powai from 1998-2000 after his graduation in Commerce and software engineering.
He expounds the Vedantic philosophy through talks on the Bhagavad Geeta, Upanishads, and other texts of Vedanta. He regularly holds meditation retreats, interactive sessions, and discussions for youth & adults.
Children love him dearly and look forward to his annual summer camps on various themes of spirituality, India, Hindu Culture, etc.
He inspires the youth with dynamic spirituality, and encourages them to think & question. Various mediums like theatre plays, treks, outdoor experiential learning programs, music, etc. are used by him.
Several corporates like Piramals, Reliance, Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors, Toyota, PWC , etc. have been addressed by him. He holds weekly
discussion groups on the Bhagavad Geeta for some of the top industrialists of India.
He is also a playwriter and has written and directed two theatrical performances. “Adrshya – Quest for the Unseen” based on Saraswati Civilization & Developed India was written and directed by him in 2009. Nine shows of Adrshya have been performed by Chinmaya Yuva Kendra Mumbai in Mumbai, Pune, Allahabad, and Chennai.
“Just Like That”- A play based on the Bhagavad Geeta on the life of Anand-Family and how they discover harmony by applying the principles of Geeta was written and directed by him in 2015. Four shows of the play have been performed in Mumbai, and Chennai.
He also conceptualised and executed the first outdoor Vedantic vision park called “Chinmaya Pradeep” based on the life, vision, and work of Swami Chinmayananda. It is a one of its kind outdoor parks which also exhibits the essence of Hindu culture, Geeta, and Upanishads in a unique and innovative way.
