Rotary Club Of Bombay Seacoast

District 3141

BRIEF INTRODUCTION

Rotary International is one of the largest service organizations in the world, with 1.2 million members from over 35,000 Rotary Clubs worldwide.

Rotary is where neighbors, friends, and problem-solvers share ideas, join leaders, and take action to create lasting change.

Rotary Club of Bombay Seacoast is one such club which belongs to Rotary District 3141 (Mumbai, India).

We were Chartered on 4th January, 1989 and have 57 members as of 6th December 2023.

We are a 100% Paul Harris Fellow& EREY  Club.

The Club also has its own trust named “The Bombay Seacoast Rotary Foundation” which is a registered, public charitable organization, with tax exemption and 80 G benefit.

With the support of our Foundation and our Club members, we undertake a number of path-breaking community service projects for betterment of our community.

These projects focus on the following six Rotary Thrust Areas:
1. Peace and conflict prevention/resolution.
2. Disease prevention and treatment.
3. Water and sanitation.
4. Maternal and child health.
5. Basic education and literacy.
6. Economic and community development.

We generally meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month, at 8 p.m., usually at The Club, D N Nagar, Andheri (W), Mumbai 400053.
