Joined Rotary in 1995-96. Was President 2007-2008. Was instrumental in starting Village development projects in Yavatmal district of Maharashtra. Also started association of Seacoast with Vansda Eye Hospital where free cataract surgeries are done Both projects got District citation in the subsequent years. Also started Micro credit projects.
Marathon runner, swimmer. Wife Mamta has been innerwheel President. She is a practising Advocate specialising in conveyancing, testamentary, housing society and family court related matters.

Son Arjun has done MBA from Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. Presently is Chief Growth Officer in Setu Nutrition. He leads Marketing and eCommerce.

Daughter in law Krutika is an Orthodontist. She specialises in Braces and Invisalign treatment practicing in Juhu, Bandra and Fort
