Kedarnath Rao Ghorpade is an Environmental Sustainability Planner and the former Chief Planner of Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority. Currently he is the Chief Executive Officer of Kesari Infrabuild Pvt. Ltd. Sh Ghorpade has Masters Degrees in Geography and Urban and Regional Planning, Post Graduate Diplomas in International Housing, Local Economic Development and Environment Law. He was awarded Dutch Fellowship in 1991 and was nominated for Eisenhower International Fellowship.

He is married to Mangala who is Nuclear Medicine Professional with Jupiter Hospital, Thane and a SMILE President. They have two children, Nimisha an Environmental Professional working with a MNC and son Tanish, an Architect turned Media Professional.

Rotarian Ghorpade has been in Rotary since 2006 and is the Charter President of RC Satellite City NM. He is a double PHF. He has held various district positions. He has been awarded numerous times at Club and District Levels. He has received Rotary International’s Club Builder Award.

During NUMERO UNO year he was part of the Navi Mumbai’s organising team of the Rotary’s cycle rally ‘Kashmir to Kanyakumari Swachh Bharat Tour de Rotary’ supported by Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India. ‘Doing Good For The Community’ and ‘Creating Leaders’ is his conviction and belief. He has a passion for Environment with the theme “Save Nature Save Trees Save Water Mission Continues”.
