Dr. Samir Bhargava is currently Professor in HBT Medical College, Mumbai and Consultant at Hinduja Healthcare Hospital and Dr. R. N. Cooper Hospital, Mumbai.

He has been a Gold Medalist for securing first rank at both M. S. ENT & DORL Exam in the year 1991 from Mumbai. He has been Gold Medalist in Anatomy in 1st MBBS-Bombay University securing ‘ DR. Yeshwant Govind Nadgir Scholarship for the year, 1983. He was Awarded Bhavnagar State Entrance Scholarship for getting highest marks in science subjects at the XII Std Exam-March, 1982-Pune Board, Maharashtra State.

• He has done his MS ENT from KEM Hospital Mumbai and DLO from Royal College of Surgeons, London.
• He has been invited Faculty at more than 60 Live Surgical and Cadaveric workshops all over the country since 1996 and has been guest speaker and panelist at several conferences and workshops.
• He has delivered the prestigious Dr. Ramesh Sanzgiri oration at Goa in 2015, Dr. S. N. Cooper oration at Maharashtra Ophthalmic conference in 2016 for exemplary work by a non-ophthamologist in the field of Ophthalmology, AOI Belgaum oration at South zone conference 2018 and Dr. M. N. Mahore oration at Vidarbha AOI conference 2018.
• He is a co-author of ‘A Short Textbook of ENT Diseases’ which has been read by more than 2.5 lakh students. He has several papers and chapters in national and international journals.
• He has been an active Rotarian and Awarded Best Rotarian Award 2015-16 by Rotary Club of Mumnai Seacoast and has been District Chairman for Deafness 2016-17.
• He was the President od AOI Mumbai for the year 2016-17.
• He is President Elect of Association of Otolaryngologist of India (AOI) for the year 2019.

• Several academic prizes including Gagalbhai Nathubhai Prize for the year 1990 for standing first in ENT amongst candidates at the July, 1990 and Jan,1991 exam in ENT – Bombay University, and Secured Dr.Manubhai Mehta Prize of the College of Physicians and Surgeons – April 1990 for standing 1st at DORL examination.
