The Butterfly and Wild Flowers trail. The trail is organised on Sunday, 21st, November between 8 am and 11 am. It is organised by the Rotary Club of Bombay Seacoast jointly with the Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS).

During this time of the year, The wild flowers with their sweet smell and nectar attract a large number of Butterflies and other insects.

Rtn. Rajendra Agarwal, District Governor Rotary District 3141 will inaugurate the trail. BNHS experts under the leadership of Dr Raju Kasambe, Deputy Director, BNHS and renowned Ornithologist will guide the participants on different forest trails and shall explain interesting aspects of nature.

The trail will start from CEC, (Conservation Education Centre of BNHS), at 8 am.
Programme fees: Rs. 800 per head.

The participants will be served Tea/Coffee at the beginning and delicious lunch after the event.

Instructions: Participants will wear dull colour clothing (shades of brown, green, grey), proper shoes (sport or canvass), rain gear and should carry water and refreshments as per their requirements. Littering the forest with paper and plastic bags is strictly prohibited.

How to reach CEC:
By Bus: Take bus route 343 headed to Film City (not Santosh Nagar) from Goregaon station eastern side. Alight at the last stop at Waghoba temple junction and enter from the entrance near Waghoba(Wagheshvari) temple (Tiger deity) and walk straight towards the BNHS sign.

Or take an AC bus A-447 from Goregaon East bus station and get down at the last bus stop (Santosh Nagar Extension) and from there take an auto for Filmcity

By Car: If you are coming by car, take the Western Express Highway and then take General A. K. Vaidya Marg from Oberoi Mall. Further ahead, take a right turn which leads to Film City. Enter Film City gate and proceed further, take the first right turn at Wagheshwari temple junction or follow BNHS signboards and then the first left turn. The road will end at CEC premises
