SHRI VIPIN RESHAMMIYA POPULARILY KNOWN AS “VIPINBHAI”, the veteran music director musician and most sought after Bollywood musician and proud recipient of Dada Saheb Phalke Award.

Shri Vipinbhai is the pioneer who had introduced electronic keyboard musical Instrument, – a Combo Organ and many other electronic instruments in the history of our Indian film industry.  

A multi faceted personality, Shri Reshammiya has travelled widely abroad for the promotion of Indian Cultural Music and has given a number of performances on electronic keyboard musical instruments before the audiences of USA, UK, Africa, Continental Europe and various Asian countries of the world. These were highly acclaimed both by the press and general public. 

To add to many his achievements, Shri Vipinbhai Reshammiya has been presented with an award by our late Prime Minister of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru for wining the best musical compositions for the All India Inter University Youth festival at Delhi, representing St.Xavier’s college Mumbai. 

Shri Reshammiya has also been presented with a Gold Medal by Pandit Omkarnath Thakur, the renowned classical singer of our country, for his versatility and technical dexterity on harmonium, he is also been awarded title of “Music Wizard” by the Stars International Club, Geneva for his sensitive performance combined with enduring quality on CLAVIOLINE, a multi purpose orchestral musical instrument.  

The nightingale of India Smt. Lata Mangeshkar and the renowned film music director duo Shri Shankar Jaikishen had also bestowed upon him the prestigious title of “Sangeet Wizard” during his college days for his electrifying performance on the harmonium and clavioline (a keyboard instrument producing various sound of Indian Instruments such as Shenai, flute etc.).

Shri Reshammiya has, to his credit as a producer, the multi star studded films like Shaktishaali and Insaaf Ki Jung which were highly acclaimed by the public.

Shri Reshammiya has masterly played for many years several musical tonal instruments in the film industry as a leading and most sought after musician under the baton of various music directors, songs of which can be still heard on the most popular charts of films in which these instruments have been extensively used. The specialty of Shri Reshammiya is that he has reproduced from the said single electronic instruments, variety of Indian instrumental tonal colors like shehnai, flute, saxophone trumpets, santoor, clarionet and many more sounds for the benefit of our Indian film music directors. Today Shri Vipinbhai Reshammiya has to his credit over 3000 songs in the musical recordings of various Indian films. 

Shri Vipinbhai Reshammiya was also actively involved in the making of television software programming as a producer for various television channels. He has to his credit of introducing big Stars of the big screen for the first time to the small screen like Rajendra Kumar, Poonam Dhillon, Shabana Azmi, Prem Chopra, Kumar Gaurav, Farha, Anita Raj and Rajesh Khanna through his popular television serials like Andaz, Amar Prem, Aahaa, Dam Dama Dam, Jaan, Ashiqui, Aangan, Rishta Kachche Dhaagon Kaa , Anupamaa etc.. 

Shri Reshammiya was appointed as a panel member of the Central Board of Film Certification of India in 2004 by the government of India.

He is the proud father of today’s most popular Rock Star, music director, singer and actor Himesh Reshammiya. 

Apart from all the remarkable achievements as above Shri Reshammiya is deeply involved in social work for the betterment of the needy and medically disabled. 

Finally to mention Shri Reshammiya’s recent achievement is that he has produced his home production film “THE XPOSE” which has been acclaimed superhit all over the world both by the press and the audience.

You all must have heard the name of Ranu Mondal. VIPIN Reshammiya’s son HIMESH ji who gave us blockbuster songs in umpteen number of films , showed his gesture and recorded  super hit song with Ranu Mondal whom HIMESH and Vipinbhai Reshammiya heard her voice when she was begging for her livelihood on the roads of Kolkatta. They wear very much impressed and recorded a song in her voice immediately for his upcoming film Happy Hardy and Heer. Great gesture.
